Back Street Road Closure- Roanoke Rd to 220

Due to continued courthouse construction, Back Street will now be closed from Roanoke Rd. to 220.  Please follow alternate routes.  This closure will be in place for approximately six months.

Change in Office Hours

Town Office hours have been amended to:  Open - Monday through Thursday 9am-Noon 1pm-5pm.  Fridays 9am-Noon.

Historic Fincastle Street Paving 9/14/26-9/18/26

  The East side of Fincastle (Old Town Fincastle) will have street paving next week starting Monday, Sept. 14 through Friday, Sept. 18.  Please refrain from parking cars on the street from 7am - 7pm on those.

2025 CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT

Every year, operators of public water systems in the Commonwealth of Virginia are required to publish their Annual Drinking Water Quality Reports, also known as the Consumer Confidence Reports. This is a requirement of the Virginia.

SOURCE AND TREAMENT OF YOUR DRINKING WATER

Your drinking water is groundwater obtained from two wells. Treatment is provided for Well 2; the well is equipped with a chlorinator and a chlorine contact tank to disinfect the water prior to distribution.

Town extended ROAD CLOSURE!!

N. Roanoke Street from Main to Back (1 block) will be closed starting April 7, 2025 until further notice.  This closure is due to ongoing Botetourt County Courthouse construction.
