All property taxes are paid through Botetourt County Treasurer. Residents

of Fincastle are required to pay a vehicle license fee of $20 per vehicle

within the Town. The fee is collected by the Botetourt County Treasurer.

Real Estate - County:     $0.79/$100 on 100% of Fair Market

Personal Property - County:     $2.71/$100 on 100% of NADA

Manufacturing Machinery - County:    $1.80/$100 at 50% of original

   capitalized cost for first 5 years, 42% thereafter

Public Utilities - County:    $0.79/$100 assessed value

Mobile Homes - County:    $0.79/$100 assessed value

Prepared Food/Meals Tax - Fincastle:    4%

Transient Occupancy Tax - Fincastle:    5%
